A better question would be HOW to buy a quality purebred puppy. Now that is a good question.

Lol. Yeah, that’s a great solution. Send everyone to Hell for disagreeing with you and see who is left. That’s a bit extreme, no? People would respect you more if your arguments were respectful, as in:
“I disagree with breeders because more dogs should be adopted from the local pounds.”
Not:
“Go to f-ing Hell, ugly bitch. Your mother dresses you funny!”

I do understand where you are coming from, though. Puppies are cute. I hated killing them just because no one wanted them.

Careless owners are one of the reasons yes. But in what logical sense is breeders not the other reasons for these tragedies? If there are no breeders, people will be forced to adopt. It’s a win win situation if breeders all die and go to hell. Can’t you see? You too are too selfish to see and acknowledge the cold truth, because puppies are cute and cuddly for you.
I worked for Rutherford County PAWS in Murfreesboro, TN for 2 years. My job was to euthanize animals. It is very sad that such good dogs and cats had to die because of overpopulation, but it is not because of breeders. The reason I killed so many animals during my career and cried to sleep every night was from the careless owners who did not spay/neuter their dogs and allowed them to roam free. If every animal was responsibly cared for, so many lives would have been saved.
I see where you’re comin from…. so many animals need homes right now. I prefer adopting any day!
I read on your page that you love dogs. Fuck you bitch. You don’t give a fuck that 4 million dogs are put down each year alone in the US. You don’t give a fuck about the dog’s ability to sense death and fear it. You don’t give a fuck that there a millions of dogs locked in a cage somewhere waiting to be adopted and saved. Instead, you breed more dogs to give potential adopters more reason not to adopt. You don’t fuckin give a fuck that 90% of animals (domesticated or not) are abused.

How is your puppy doing now. I missed your comment a month ago or I would have commented then. Sorry.
I mostly just use my puppies normal dry dog food for training, but I also use turkey hotdogs. I cut them into small pieces and bake them on a cookie sheet at 250 degrees until they are dry and easy to handle. I make up a bunch at one time and then freeze them in baggies for use later. Frozen Bil Jac dog food also makes very good training treats. You buy it frozen, thaw it out and use what you need, keeps well refrigerated for about two weeks. Check the blog for more tips.

I like Pits also, but you will find that German Shepherds are much easier to train. They were bred to be trained and to work for people. They are loyal, brave and sensitive to your needs. It is very hard to find any breed of dog that can compare to GSD in trainability. GSD’s were ranked #1 in the world as the most popular breed for many, many years. Buy the best you can afford or adopt one from a shelter. Don’t buy a cheap GSD from the paper because of health issues in the breed.

i love shepards. one of my favorite breeds. labs, golden retrievers, and german Shepard are all my favorite breeds. but i love all medium sized breeds. im not a big fan of little dogs the size of cats.
